One can always count on Mother Nature to remind us to settle down and pay attention: the season for swimming and summer flowers is almost over. I acknowledged this joyful fact early this morning as I huddled under the extra blanket and enjoyed every chilly second.
It was clear and cold this morning at HQ and the fog drifting off the lake is a clear indication the water temperature is dropping. I am also reminded the cold impacts the flowers.
Today’s featured photo is the view from my desk this morning. It has been a busy summer and I was hard at work when I looked up and was immediately distracted by the sparkly clear Adirondack morning. The view was impressive, but when I looked closer, I was compelled to grab my camera, bundle up and take a little break outside. Please enjoy my morning Adirondack indulgence.
